Dominos

(1) Players divide the tiles equally.

(2) The first player has to place a tile, which has pips equal to a prime number when totalled.

(3) A prime number is a number that can only be divided by 1 and itself to give a whole number.

The prime numbers that players need are:

1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47, 53, 59, 61, 67, 71, 73, 79, 83, 89, 97, 101, 103, 107, 109, 113, 127, 131, 137, 139, 149, 151, 157, 163 and 167.

(4) When a player empties their hand or has the fewest tiles in a blocked game, they score the points of the last prime number. The first player to score 500 points wins.

Strategy

Players should keep a range of tiles that have different totals to ensure that they can place a tile on to the layout.
