Foods to Avoid Feeding Your Dog or Cat

Dogs and cats enjoy a variety of proteins, fruits, vegetables, and carbohydrates, but certain foods can be toxic to pets. It is very important that you follow this "Do Not Feed" list closely:

• Alcoholic beverages
• Grapes
• Artificial sweeteners—NutraSweet, sorbitol, Macadamia nuts Sweet'N Low, xylitol, and so on
• Moldy or spoiled foods
• Avocado
• Mushrooms
• Candy
• Onions and onion powder
• Chocolate (all forms)
• Raisins
• Coffee (all forms)
• Salt
• Fatty foods
• Seeds of any type
• Garlic
• Yeast dough
