Crochet slip-stitch bind-off
Knitting - Basic Techniques

This bind-off, which is worked with a crochet hook, is easy to do. It can be done quickly, but it must be done with a loose tension or the bound-off stitches can be too tight, so be careful!

Knit-side facing
Insert the hook into the edge stitch, taking the stitch off the needle, yarn over, and pull up a loop.
Insert the hook into the next stitch, yarn over, and pull through both stitches on the hook.
Repeat step 2 across.
Pull the yarn through the last stitch and fasten off.
Purl-side facing
Insert the hook into the edge stitch as shown, taking the stitch off the needle, yarn over, and pull up a loop.
Keeping the yarn at the front, insert the hook into the next stitch, yarn over, and pull through both stitches on the hook.
Repeat step 2. Pull the yarn through the last stitch and fasten off.
