Crochet slip-stitch bind-off

This bind-off, which is worked with a crochet hook, is easy to do. It can be done quickly, but it must be done with a loose tension or the bound-off stitches can be too tight, so be careful!
Knit-side facing | |
Insert the hook into the edge stitch, taking the stitch off the needle, yarn over, and pull up a loop. | |
Insert the hook into the next stitch, yarn over, and pull through both stitches on the hook. | |
Repeat step 2 across. | |
Pull the yarn through the last stitch and fasten off. | |
Purl-side facing | |
Insert the hook into the edge stitch as shown, taking the stitch off the needle, yarn over, and pull up a loop. | |
Keeping the yarn at the front, insert the hook into the next stitch, yarn over, and pull through both stitches on the hook. | |
Repeat step 2. Pull the yarn through the last stitch and fasten off. |
