Needles: Size US 10; cable needle.
Gauge: 20 sts = 4” over pattern.
Measurements:
Scarf: approx 6” x 55” long.
Loosely cast on 29 sts
Rows 1, 3, 5, 7 (RS): K1, k27, k1
Row 2 & all even rows: K1, p27, k1.
Row 9: K1, sl next 9 sts onto cable needle leaving needle in front of work, k9, k9 sts from cable needle, k9, k1.
Row 11, 13, 15, 17, 19: Repeat row 1.
Row 21: K1, k9, sl next 9 sts onto cable needle leaving cable needle in back of work, k9, k9 sts from cable needle, k1.
Row 23: Like row 1. Row 24: Repeat row 2.
Repeat these 24 rows until almost out of yarn, ending with a WS row at least 4 rows from a cable twist.
Weave in all ends.
